Strange things are happening in the tiny village of Gates up on Gates Ridge in rural West Virginia. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Kathy Leveno Stackpole is the product of a tiny coal community like the one about which she writes. She is a wife who juggles her time between family, friends, and a long-term career in an administrative position with Chico Enterprises. In her spare time, Kathy likes to read and, of course, write. She loves life and enjoys writing about all the strange and wonderful chaos that occurs in everyday living. Currently, she is working on her third novel.
