About the author:

Maya Kaathryn Bohnhoff is addicted to writing and has been since she first discovered that words spawn worlds. For this she credits her father, who let her stay up to watch "The Day the Earth Stood Still" one dark and stormy night when her mom was at choir practice.

Maya lives in northern California with her talented husband, three extraordinary children, neurotic cat, and dysfuctional dog. She and her husband are musicians and partners in Mystic Fig Productions -- an independent recording company.
